Prof. Ronaldo Pontes
He earned his medical degree in 1957 from the Federal University of Fluminense (UFF). He completed five years of postgraduate training in General Surgery. He spent twelve years training in various medical departments in Brazil, Argentina, the United States, and England. He has given more than 400 scientific presentations, including at conferences, symposia, and workshops, not only in Brazil but also in various other countries, such as Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, the United States, Canada, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, Japan, and China.
